After getting back from Switzerland a few days prior and starting to pack up my belongings to put in to storage my phone had rang and Shayne Pospisil invited me to cruise down to Mammoth to shoot this jump that is being built and suppose to be beastly. I should be here in mamms for the next few days unless I go to Salt Lake. Only time will tell.
This photo was taken on Rt395 from Lake Tahoe to Mammoth around June Lake, Ca. Another picture perfect day in the Sierras.

The Editing Life
After a nice long trip of racking up images there comes a time when one has to sit down and start chopping the pile in half to say the least. I got into my house around 2 am after a solid 24hr travel day. Started my edit at 5 am super jet lagged and continued throughout the day and into the evening. I have 1 more solid day of editing followed by color correcting. Tomorrow I am going to make time and post some more photos from the trip onto FlickR.

Don't party and go right to the backcountry without sleep
My first Heli shooting. This photo was of the crew as we took off into the sky. Silent Greg Wheeler, Scotty Lago, Tim Humphreys and I. There is something said for don't party and get shitty weather or party all night and get straight into the heli with perfect conditions.

Flow Snowboards is off to Zurick on the move
Zurick Airport, Switzerland. The trip started in Mammoth Lakes, Ca with the Flow international Team. We shot all day from 9 am to 5 then ate some snacks went back to the hill for a evening sunset shoot then right to the airport . Arrived at 3am to get on our 6am flight. Flew to Denver drank some beers in the lounge then headed off to DC airport to miss our connecting flight, hotel for the night next flight was the following evening. After airport security problems with a few of us being typsy our flight got underway to fly for only 20 minutes then turned around for tech problems. Thinking there computers were going to be fixed we then had to re-ticket and get onto a new flight and wait for baggage to be moved over. This image was on our way thru the airport to the Train Station.
1 Week in Mammoth with Flow Snowboards
1 Week in Mammoth Lakes, Ca shooting for Flow Snowboards and there international team. Not all the riders had the best of luck. This rider got hurt his first day off the plane from Japan. I tried to always pull him aside to get some lifestyles of him since action photos were out of the question. Here is one that I shot of him while his buddies packed the car to head back to the airport.

Travels Back Home
On the 31st I boarded up the plane in Munich, Germany at 2:30 in the afternoon, took it to my next stop chicago but of course the weather always sucks in Chicago so our pilot detoured us to Milluawkee for some gas because we circled chicago in the air for so long. 3 hours parked in a unexpected airport then got to chicago and for sure missed all the flights to San Francisco, grab my luggage and head to a hotel sleep for a few hrs then back to the airport bounced to San Fran wasn't allowed to get onto the earlier flight to Reno wait 6 hrs for a 2.5 hr drive. Land in Reno- Take a shuttle to a hotel near where I live in South Lake Tahoe and have a friend pick me up to finally get back to my house. The next morning was time to pack up my house into boxes and get a storage facility and then it was time to pack up and head to Mammoth for 2 days to do some shooting with friends and take a drive through the desert.
